Our Patient Success Stories
Story #1: "Kesey" Butler-Adopted by Lori Butler(veterinary technician)
"Kesey" came into our clinic about 6 months ago. She was a animal cruelty seizure brought in by Town Lake Animal Shelter and Blue Dog Rescue. When she came into our hospital she had a deep laceration around her neck due to a rope being tied around her neck for an excessive period of time. The rope had been around her neck for so long that it had actually embeded in her neck. That was not the extent of her neglect however. She was also so malnurished and poorly cared for that she had a small heart mumur as well as severly untreated mange. These are pictures of "Kesey" when she first came to our clinic:

Now six months later, Kesey lives with our technician Lori. We completed surgery to reattach the skin and muscle that was torn on her neck. She was spayed and also treated for her mange. She has gone from weighing 18 pounds when she first came in to weighing a whopping 45 pounds. Now that she is no longer malnurished her heart mumur has also gone away and she has been given a clean bill of health by both Dr. Blatt and Dr. Jones(cardiologist that shares our office) These are pictures of Kesey today happy and healthy:
