I was very satisfied with the care they took of my boy Marty. Jessica has been very kind, sensitive and helpful. Unfortunately we moved and Marty passed away 10/9/2011 on Norris Lake in Georgia. Thank u Dr Blatt, Jessica and everyone at feather n fur. May GOD bless you and your families, Michelle Valcev

Dr. Blatt and Dr. Newman have taken care of my two dogs since my family moved here in 2006. The care is always excellent. I appreciate the extra attention given to educate me about the health needs of my dogs both by the vets and the staff. There is prompt attention to follow-up care, or for phone advice. I feel Feathers and Fur makes an effort to make excellent vet care affordable. Front staff is friendly. I feel confident in the veterinary care my pets receive from the team at Feather's and Fur.

Dr Blatt and Dr Newman have always been wonderful with all my pets. When my husband and I brought MY BEST FRIEND FOR 14 YEARS (longer than we have been married and raised our own pet family) on Saturday 1/29, I knew that Kitty Kat was very uncomfortable. When I mentioned "labored breathing" to Michael, the young lady at the front desk ran over to check out KK's condition. Instead of doing anything stressful to my cat, Dr. Newman suggested taking xrays of her lungs. She brought in a book showing normal lung xrays that I could compare to KK's xrays. Kitty Kat had fluid in her lungs and would have to endure lots of tests and procedures to determine the cause. She then explained all the possibilities and suggested treatments. Dr N also informed me that, in spite of KK's illness she had managed to draw blood from two of the staff members. Since I knew KK was suffering and having trouble breathing, (and hated going to the vet more than any cat I ever had) I asked if KK could be put to sleep. My husband cried because he didn't know the extent of KK's suffering, but Dr N and staff handled the conclusion of KK's life with the utmost discretion and respect. It was a very hard decision to make but I know it was the right deision. It was wonderful how humanely and professionally EVERYONE at F&F handled this situation. THANK YOU SO MUCH

When I bring my beloved Buddy to see his vet, Buddy loves to see Dr. Julie Newman and her tender care. She and I always communicate on her laptop about the instruction for Buddy's medical needs without sign language interpreter. I appreciate her care and consideration to make our communication more accessible by using her laptop to communicate. Salute to Dr. Julie Newman for best care and giving Buddy her love and kisses. Buddy loves to be kissed that makes him happier.

Last night we had to say goodbye to our wonderful Ollie - part of our family for 15 years and a special cat to all who knew him. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Blatt, Jessica, and Michelle were at this very difficult time and their care and love for Ollie helped us so much to say goodbye. They show a unique sensitivity in this type of situation and I felt like they were part of Ollie's family too. He received optimal care every time he visited the clinic and they made it possible for him to make his final journey surrounded by peace and love. You all have a special place in our hearts.

I just read the previous testimonial and it made me want to add my own. I just went through the same heart rending decision making for my precious Bonnie girl. The care she received from both Drs. Blatt and Newman was excellent and between their care and the love she received at home she lived a wonderful 17 years. Time at the end was difficult and we faced many trips to the office. Everyone we encountered was terrific but I want to share a send a special thanks to Lori, who shed tears with us the day we had to say goodbye, and who made it clear that Bonnie was more than just a patient to her. Thank you so much Lori. It means more than you know. Also Pam at the front desk has been so kind and caring through the years but especially in these last couple of months when I felt I spent as much time in the clinic as at home. She made it easier. As I said, you all are wonderful at the clinic, but these two wonderful staff members hold a special place in my heart. While the sadness is so difficult right now, I suspect it won't be long before my new canine companion and I will be marching in to see our favorite vets. Thanks! Kathy

I have used Dr. Blatt and his staff on multiple occasions with my 15 old dog since my move to South Austin. Today he helped me with the hardest job I ever had to face--putting my dog to sleep after all other medical options had failed. Dr. Blatt was so conscienous of my own failing health and tried to make it as peaceful as possible. Yes, tears flowed continuously but the comfort he provided my daughter and self made this difficult decision easier to make. Dr. Blatt loves every pet that walks through his door. I left feeling sad but at peace. I appreciate Dr.Blatt and his entire staff. When we feel stronger, a new dog will come to our house and he will get to meet Dr. Blatt, the best doc around!
