Fleas! Fleas! Fleas!

This summer has been big for fleas.Please make sure your pet is properly protected against these pests such as Frontline, Advantage-Multi, Advantage and Revolution for cats, and K9 Advantix, Comfortis,Advantage,Frontline, and Advantage-multi for dogs. Never use a household pest killer on your pets as preventative or anything else that is not Veterinary approved for a flea prevention.

Iams Dry Veterinary Diet Recall

During routine testing Iams found a sample to contain salmonella. After retesting they could not find another sample that contained salmonella. However as a safety precaution Iams is voluntarily recalling all veterinary dry foods. New products will be available for purchase in a few weeks. If you are concerned about your pet having contacted salmonella from the these products the signs to look for are: Diarrhea, vomiting, anorexia, and weight loss. So far no cases have been reported to Iams. If you have any questions or concerns please contact our clinic.
